Educational Websites

 Check out NCES Kids' Zone...

The NCES Kids' Zone provides information on schools and colleges.  In addition, you will also find fun games, quizzes and skill building techniques for math (math, probability, and graphing).  I really liked the graphing tool! The graphs that I will be presenting for my Social Studies lesson plan were developed from this website.  When you get a chance, you should take a look at what all this site has to offer.  You will even find interesting facts about education at this website!

Looking for some Science Fun?

This is where I found my "Floating M's" Science Lesson Plan.
Robert Krampf is indeed a "Happy Scientist"!  I think you will find his science activities relevant and engaging--for all ages.

Lesson Plans that reach all learners...

I have found the Florida Center For Reading Research Website to be a valuable resource.  Each lesson plan incorporates instructional techniques to reach all learner types: Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic learners.  You can search by grade level, and the specific reading skill in which you wish to target (phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, comprehension, and DIBEL (Dynamic Indicators of Basic Early Literacy Skills).
