Welcome!

Hello, my name is Dianna Ashley.  As I venture into the land of "Blogs", I am looking forward to learning about the numerous ways in which I can utilize this resourceful online tool as a means of communication, collaboration, and information sharing.  As I continue my academic walk, my passion to teach intentionally--Every Learner, Every day, becomes more and more real to me.  My goal as a teacher is to equip my students for future success--in school, at home, within their community, and onto their future endeavors.  My action plan will involve getting to know each and every one of my students--their likes, dislikes, strengths, and challenges.  Of course it will take much more than this for the tall task of molding these youngsters for a lifetime love for learning!  Understanding learning styles, and then utilizing differentiated instructional techniques, to reach every learner ever day is yet another goal I shall work to achieve!  Other valuable resources in which my action plan entails will involve collaboration and communication with my fellow colleagues, my student's families, and other professionals as I believe strongly that together we can achieve more!  I will strive to create a classroom that reflects a community of learners.  It is here where I want my students to feel safe to share their thoughts and ideas--a place where learning is fun!  My goal is for each and every one of my students to achieve meaningful learning, and an educational experience that will inspire them to be the best that they can be!
